Dominican Sister of Peace Denise (Mary Lou) Macko, OP (93), died on December 25, 2022, at the Regina Health Center in Akron, OH. February 11, 2023. She served God and Gods church as a Dominican Sister for 72 years. The daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Flynn OBrien, she was born May 19, 1923 Education and the teaching of children were the main focus in Sisters life, as well as love of God, community, church and her dear family.
